Healing FAQ

Q: What actually is healing?

A: There are many different kinds of healing and there are many different ways to give and receive healing that do not fall into particular categories.

For example Yoga, meditation, and Tai Chi offer excellent forms of self-healing, in fact most of the mystery schools in history and all religions feature some form of healing.

Healing is older than records associated with mankind. Even some cave paintings from the stone age showed energy emanating from the palm of the hands.

 Q: What will I feel?

A: This varies greatly, many people just feel very, very relaxed while others can feel a variety of pleasant sensations including seeing colours, feeling a wonderful warming heat or even a great sense of relief.

Q: What results can I expect?

A: This again varies greatly, sometimes it can take a few sessions to alleviate a condition, other times you can gain relief the first time.

Q: Am I guaranteed a 'cure'?

A: There are a number of things that can limit the amount of healing that is given and also its effectiveness. A lot of this can be how open you are to being 'cured' and how well you accept the healing on a spiritual level, unfortunately there are no guarantees.

Q: Can I talk to someone about it before I book?

A: This is absolutely fine, I would encourage to talk about it and to find out what you need to know so that you are more comfortable and therefore more accepting of the energies, allowing them to flow well and provide greater healing. Feel free to contact me for a chat. There is never any obligation upon you.

Q: Where does the healing take place?

A: Healings can be conducted at a distance, in your home or in my specially set-up healing area.

Q: Where does the energy come from?

A: The energies do not come from the healer, but instead are channelled through the healer to their patient. I believe that it does not really matter where the energies come from, just that we use them whenever possible for the greater good of life on earth.
